Health & Safety

Solar Partner strives for the highest level of professionalism to ensure that every aspect of our service meets - or exceeds your expectations.
 
For every installation we arrange the system will be installed to industry standards, complying with the most stringent regulations.
 
As a result all our staff and consultants have under gone rigorous Health and Safety training and at all times the following Health and Safety codes will be adhered to –
  • A risk assessment of the site will be undertaken before the works commence.
  • If the project employs more then five people on site or last for more than 30 days or involves more than 500 man-days then a notification will be made to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
  • All electrical connections and commissioning will only be undertaken by persons that are Part P qualified and have under gone the necessary PV installation training.
  • Safety protection clothing (PPE) will be worn on site at all times.
  • Access will only be made with suitable access towers or cherry pickers
  • Ladders will at all times be manned.
  • If an access towers is required to remain on site overnight then a security alarm will be installed to the access tower, if required. 
  • Crawl boards and roof ladders will be used at all times where required
  • Fall protection harnesses will be worn where required at all times.
  • All staff will act professionally or will be removed from site
  • No smoking is permitted on site at any time.
  • No radios are permitted on site.
  • All debris resulting from the installation will be removed from site. Your site will be left as it was found. Any disturbance to landscaped areas as a result of gaining access will be made good at completion.
